What is Kangan Water



Kangen water is a, in our opinion,  healthier form of water with significant anti-oxidant properties. It's prepared as the result of an electrolysis process which separates ordinary water (H20) into two separate entities. One half of the separated water becomes an acidic HO molecule, while the other becomes an alkaline OH molecule. The producers of Kangen water bottle the alkaline OH water for drinking purposes, Super alkali for degreaser and pesticide removal. The acidic HO molecule is used for cleaning, antibacterial & topical applications.

The name kangen is Japanese for "return to the origin," which helps to explain the philosophy behind its promotion as a health food. According to one theory, the human body needs both acids and alkalis to properly process foods, make repairs and generally remain in good working order. Ingesting too many acidic foods and beverages, most notably carbonated soft drinks, can lower the body's natural pH levels to dangerously acidic levels. Kangen water, , can help restore a the body's proper pH level and perhaps even become more alkaline, which would be a positive development, in theory.

Kangen water and other ionized or alkaline water products are also said to have smaller molecules, which means they are more readily absorbed by the body. Ordinary tap water or unprocessed bottled waters have larger water molecules which tend to pass through the body without reaching individual cells. Without proper re-hydration, these cells can suffer from a form of cellular dehydration and either die too soon or fail to function efficiently. Kangen water is believed to have the ability to rehydrate these cells before they essentially dry out. The science behind ionized or alkaline water is solid. Oxidation in liquids can be measured in ORP which stands for Oxidation Reduction Potential. A +ORP value is unhealthy for you and helps accelerate the breakdown of cells and thus accelerates the aging process while a -ORP value is very good for your health and will actually slow down the aging process. Please remember that a (-) negative value in such circumstances is a beneficial indicator for your health.

 Kangen water is typically between -300 to -600. I have seen it personally as high as -800 ORP. The higher the negative (-) ORP, the better it is in combating oxidation and free radicals which affect our health and well being. Read more about ORP here

Bottled water has been measured as high as +600 ORP in our personal demonstrations. Notice Kangen Water® on the opposite side of the chart is even surpassing green tea and orange juice. If you haven't already done so, stop drinking sodas. Not only are they extremely oxidizing but also highly acidic which is a big contributing factor in sickness and weight gain.

#2. Micro-Clustering

Micro clustering is another great quality of Kangen Water®. When water is run over the solid platinum coated titanium plates, the water is broken down in size from a cluster of 15-20 molecules to around 5-6 molecules resulting in the body being hydrated up to 6 times as much as with regular water. Because of its smaller molecule clusters, this water will penetrate and hydrate all areas of the body more efficiently than regular water. Imagine a water that fully hydrates, oxygenates and detoxifies your body all at once.

 

#3.  Alkaline

The third major characteristic of this water is Alkaline. When we were born, our bodies were naturally alkaline; however, as we age, our bodies become more acidic for a number of reasons. Our bodies' pH level should be 7.35 for optimal health, which is slightly alkaline.

Problems With Commonly Used Waters


Tap water


Tap water is a healthier option than soft drinks. But according to the Environmental Working Group, there have been 315 pollutants found in America's tap water since 2004, and over half of these pollutants are completely unregulated and can legally exist in any amount.
At the current levels of contamination, the public is starting to question the quality of tap water and wonders if it is safe enough to drink. Based on these facts, it's no wonder that the demand for Kangen Water® is constantly increasing.

Bottled water

Bottled water is not necessarily healthier than tap water and yet it costs much more! Although associated with healthy water, bottled water is not guaranteed to be any healthier than tap water. Often the only difference is the added minerals which have no proven health benefits.

A four-year study by the Natural Resources Defence Council shows that 1/3 of the bottled water tested contains levels of contamination which exceed allowable limits. Bottled water can also be slightly acidic, which may affect your body's pH balance. Finally, the environmental impact caused by the production and disposal of plastic bottles is harmful to our ecosystem.

Reverse osmosis water

Reverse Osmosis is a filtering process which may be effective in areas that do not receive municipally treated water and is commonly used in bottled water facilities. The problem with this process is that dangerous chemicals like pesticides, herbicides, and chlorine are molecularly smaller than water and can pass freely through the filter. Reverse osmosis removes healthy, naturally occurring water minerals. These minerals not only provide good taste, they also serve a vital function in the body's system. When stripped of these minerals, water can be unhealthy. Also, 2-3 gallons of water are wasted for every gallon of purified water produced.
